Sweet martabak or also known as moon light cake includes a type of pancake food, which is widely sold on the roadside in the territory of Indonesia and Sabah, Malaysia. Martabak manis has its own distinctive name from their respective regions, although it is based on the same main ingredients.

How to make sweet martabak is actually quite easy to practice by yourself using teflon without spending a lot of money. The following has been summarized on how to make sweet martabak:

1. Martabak Sweet Original

 


Original Sweet Martabak Ingredients:

- 125 grams of medium protein wheat flour

- 1 egg chicken

- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

- 4 tablespoons margarine

- 2 tablespoons vanilla or plain milk powder

- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

- 1/4 teaspoon instant yeast (fermipan)

- sweetened condensed milk to taste

- 180 ml boiled water

How to Make Original Sweet Martabak

1. Combine wheat flour, 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, yeast, baking powder, milk powder, and water. Stir in the dough until completely blended and nothing clumps.

2. If using double acting baking powder, let the dough stand for 30 minutes. If using single-acting baking powder, just let stand 5-10 minutes only.

3. While the dough is silenced, place 3 tablespoons of margarine in a saucepan or teflon baking dish. Melt margarine and let stand until slightly cooled.

4. Beat off the chicken eggs until no white parts clump again.

5. Add liquid margarine to the flour dough that has been silenced earlier. Then also enter the eggs that have been shaken loose.

6. Heat the teflon over low heat, then pour the dough until it fills half the teflon. Shake the teflon baking sheet so that the dough sticks to the surface of the baking sheet and forms a fringe.

- 1 pack of oreos

- 1 egg

- 1/4 tsp baking powder

- 100 ml uht full cream milk

- 3 tbsp margarine

1. Blend until smooth all martabak ingredients. Then let stand for 15 minutes until fluffy.

How to Make Small Sweet Martabak

1. First, mix the yeast in half a glass of warm water, then wait for 5 minutes.

2. Mix all ingredients except water, until perfectly blended.

- 500 ml uht milk

Vla Material

- 250 ml UHT

- 1 egg yolk

- 50 gr granulated sugar

- 25 gr custard flour

- 1/2 tbsp butter

- 1/2 tsp vanilla paste

How to Make Rainbow Martabak Lenggang

1. Mix all martabak ingredients except salt. Mix well until smooth not rattled. Then cover using plastic wrap and let the dough stand for 1 hour.

2. While waiting, make a dough vla: dissolve the custard flour with some milk, then mix with the rest of the milk and sugar while heated.

3. Once hot enough, take some of the solution mixed with egg yolks and mix well.

4. Put it back in the milk solution. Cook again until it explodes. Turn off the stove.

5. Add vanilla paste and butter mix well until smooth. Set aside.

- 6 chopped oreos

- 7 tbsp liquid milk

- 5 tbsp grated cheese

- 10 drops of red chili pepper dye
